REPORT.

The Special Committee, having taken into consideration the duties involved in the offices of Cathaoirleach and Leas-Chathaoirleach, and having considered the amounts paid to the Speakers or Chairmen in the Parliaments of the Dominion of Canada, the Commonwealth of Australia, the Dominion of New Zealand and the Union of South Africa, recommend that in future the amount payable to the Cathaoirleach be at the rate of £1,200 per annum, and to the Leas-Chathaoirleach at the rate of £750 per annum.
