PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE.

1. The Joint Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Senator Hooper (in the Chair); Deputies T. Hennessy, Lemass, O’Connell, O’Mahony, Smith, Thrift and Tierney; Senators Mrs. Costello, Johnson, The McGillycuddy of the Reeks, Milroy, Colonel Moore and O’Hanlon.

3. Travelling Facilities.

Mr. H. P. Boland, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Finance, attended the Joint Committee in response to their request for information on matters relating to travelling facilities.

4. The Joint Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. until Wednesday next, at 11 a.m.
