PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Joint Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Senator Sir Bryan Mahon (in the Chair), Deputies Anthony, A. Byrne, Cooper, P. S. Doyle, and MacEntee; Senators Bennett, Foran, MacGuinness, Molloy and Parkinson.

3. Mr. P. S. O’Hegarty (Secretary, Department of Posts and Telegraphs) was examined.

4. It was decided to invite the Bloodstock Breeders’ Association of Ireland and Mr. M. Byrne, Editor of “Sport,” to give evidence.

5. The Joint Committee adjourned at 12 noon until 11 a.m. on Wednesday next.
