REPORT OF THE SELECT COMMITTEE APPOINTED TO CONSIDER THE STATISTICS BILL, 1925.

1. This Committee was appointed by the Seanad on the 11th February, 1926. The Committee is constituted as follows:—Senators John Bagwell, S. L. Brown, James G. Douglas, Sir Thomas Grattan, Esmonde, Rt. Hon. Andrew Jameson, Sir, John Keane, Sir Bryan Mahon and William John Molloy.


2. The Committee met for the first time on Wednesday, 17th February, 1926.


There were present:—Senators Bagwell, Brown, Douglas, Sir Thomas Esmonde, Jameson, Sir John Keane and Sir Bryan Mahon. The President was also in attendance.


3. Senator Douglas was moved to the Chair.


4. The Committee met for the second time on Friday, 19th February, 1926.


There were present:—Senators Bagwell, Brown, Douglas, Sir Thomas Esmonde, Jameson and Sir Bryan Mahon. The President was also in attendance.


5. The Committee, having taken the Bill into consideration, decided to report the same to the Seanad with certain amendments. These are shown in the Appendix to this Report.
