‘Anything contained in the Act of 1912 or the Act of 1925 that is inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, shall as from the commencement of this Act cease to have effect to the extent of such inconsistency:


Provided that all regulations or orders lawfully made under the provisions of the said Acts and in force at the commencement of this Act shall continue in force until amended or repealed save in so far as they are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act:


Provided also that the validity of any proceedings taken or things lawfully done or penalties imposed or incurred under the authority of the said Acts or any regulation or order made thereunder shall not be affected by this Act.”’

They have made amendments in the Bill, and the Bill, as amended, is herewith returned to the Dáil.”
