SEANAD ÉIREANN.Tuarasgabhail ón mBuan-Choiste ar Bhuan-Órduithe.(Report of Standing Committee on Standing Orders.)Do ceapadh an Coiste seo le Rún den tSeanad ar an 25° Eanair, 1923, do réir Airtiogail 70 de sna Buan-Orduithe Sealadacha, atá mar leanas:— “I dtosach gach Siosóin ceapfaidh an Seanad Coiste ar Bhuan-Orduithe ar a mbeidh an Cathaoirleach agus an Leas-Chathaoirleach ex officio agus ceathrar Seanadóiri an chuid is mó dhe.” Siad so leanas atá ar an gCoiste do ceapadh amhlaidh:—An Tiarna Lann Abhaidh, Séamas Dubhglas, Aindrias Mac Séamais, Sean Ó Fearghail, Pádraig Ó Cionaodha, Sir Seán Ó Catháin. Do chuir an Coiste Tuarasgabhail ós comhair an tSeanaid ar an 5° Iúil, 1923, agus do socruíodh í do chur thar n-ais, chun go ndéanfaidh an Coiste machtnamh ar leasú a thairg an Seanadóir Tomás MacPartholáin ar Ordú 70. Do dhin an Coiste amhlaidh, agus sin iad a molta:— (1) the deletion of the last sentence of Order 56, and the substitution therefor of the words “A Joint Committee shall fix its own quorum.” (2) the insertion in Order 70, line 9, paragraph 2, after the word “Stage,” of the following: “but, save in the case of a certified Money Bill, not before the “expiration of three clear days after the circulation of the Bill “as passed by the Dáil.” (3) the insertion at the end of Orders 100 and 103 of the words “the proceedings for such election to begin de novo.” Signithe, Glenavy, Cathaoirleach an Choiste, Chairman of Committee. 10° Iúil, 1923. |
