The items listed for consideration in the programme are not in any order of priority as a timetable would impose rigidity and preclude the Joint Committee from responding to ongoing events. If necessary, therefore, this programme may be amended during the year to allow for new matters arising and such an amended programme shall be laid before both Houses of the Oireachtas.
