1. The Committee met at 11.30 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Timmins (in the Chair) Deputies Morley, O’Hanlon and Leyden.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1979.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1979 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Office of the Minister for Justice, Garda Síochána, Prisons, Courts, Land Registry and Registry of Deeds, Fisheries, Forestry.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. A. Ward (Secretary, Department of Justice), Mr. J. Power (Secretary, Department of Fisheries and Forestry) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned until 11.10 a.m. on Thursday, 21st May, 1981.
