1. The Committee met at 11.00am.

2. Members Present:-

Deputies J.Mitchell (in the Chair), Broughan, Doherty, Durkan, Foley, Mc Cormack, Mc Daid, B.O’Keeffe, O’Malley, Rabbitte, Upton.

3. The Committee went into private session.

The Committee deliberated.

4. Draft Final Report on the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1992.

The Chairman brought forward the Draft Final Report for consideration.

Draft Final Report agreed to.

Ordered: To report to the Dáil accordingly.

The Committee went into public session.

5. Consideration of method of determination of legal fees.

The Committee deliberated.

6. Witnesses Examined:-

Mr.P.Mullarkey (Secretary, Department of Finance), Mr.C.Ó hUigínn (Department of Justice), Mr.R.Ryan (Department of Justice), The Comptroller and Auditor General.
