1 The Committee met at 4.00 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Senator Tom Fitzgerald (in the Chair), Deputies Mary Coughlan, Enda Kenny, Denis McGinley, John O’Donoghue, Senators Peter Kelleher and Nicholas O’Connor.

3. Draft report regarding the Irish Language in the Houses of the Oireachtas and within the Political Parties.

The Chairman brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

(i) Paragraphs 1.1.1 to 2.4.8, inclusive, agreed to.

4. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 5.30 p.m.
