Various treatments for £1.20 for student orthodentic and £3.00 staff orthodentic treatment.

The Committee was informed that the Dental hospital treats 70,000 patients annually. They were also informed that 25% of patients approximately were medical card holders and that patients treated in hospitals were not included in the total patient figure which was the sum of the patients treated by the different departments.

The foregoing figures would indicate that only a small proportion, if any, of patients treated actually pay the prescribed admission/registration fee or in accordance with the prescribed scale of fees even after the dramatic improvement in receipts in 1985 nor 1984.
