1. The Joint Committee met at 4 p.m.

2. Election of Acting Chairman.

On the proposal of Deputy Walsh, Senator Robinson was unanimously elected Chairman.

3. Members Present.

The following Members were present:— Senator Robinson (in the Chair), Deputies Conaghan, Durkan, Flanagan and Walsh; Senators Hourigan, Lanigan, McDonald and Smith.

4. Election of Acting Chairman.

On the proposal of Deputy Flanagan Deputy Walsh was unanimously elected Chairman.

5. Draft Report on Nine Statutory Instruments.

Senator Robinson brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

(i) Paragraphs 1 to 16 inclusive, agreed to.

(ii) Appendices 1 to 5 inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report, as amended, agreed to.

Ordered: To report accordingly.

6. Adjournment.

The Joint Committee adjourned at 6 p.m.
