1. The Committee met at 2.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Crotty (in the Chair), Deputies Cosgrave, Crowley, Desmond, Morley O’Leary and Wyse.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1979.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1979 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Houses of the Oireachtas and the European Assembly, Comptroller and Auditor General, Roinn na Gaeltachta, Office of the Revenue Commissioners.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. M. J. Healy (Clerk of the Dáil), Mr. P. Graham (Secretary and Director of Audit), Mr. L. Tóibín (Secretary, Roinn na Gaeltachta), Mr. P. McMahon (Chairman, Revenue Commissioners), Mr. P. Keeley (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, 20th October, 1982.
