16th December, 1980:—Ordered: That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 126 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Committee of Public Accounts be appointed; and

That the Appropriation Accounts with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General for the year ended 31st December 1979 be referred to the Committee for examination and report.

24 February, 1981:—Committee nominated consisting of Deputies Godfrey Timmins, Niall Andrews, Luke Belton, Clement Coughlan, Eddie Filgate, John Horgan, William Kenneally, Terry Leyden, P. J. Morley, Fergus O’Brien, Rory O’Hanlon and Seamus Pattison.
