OVERTIME COSTS.

The Committee sought details of overtime payments divided between the various sections and also the cost of overtime incurred during the Christmas period, on television licence campaigns, telephone directory delivery and the cost of additional overtime incurred as a direct result of the strikes in 1978 and 1979.

No detailed costing of telephone directory delivery is available as the work is partially carried out in conjunction with normal mail delivery. The other costs asked for are set out hereunder.
