The Minister for Social Welfare, Deputies Ahern, Boland, Callanan, O’Keeffe; Senators Donnelly, FitzGerald, Harney, Hillery.


3. Election of Chairman.


Motion made (Senator Alexis FitzGerald):


“That Deputy O’Keeffe be Chairman of the Committee.”


Question put, and agreed to.


Deputy O’Keeffe took the Chair accordingly.


4. Meeting suspended at 4.35 p.m.; resumed at 4.40 p.m.


5. The Committee deliberated.


6. Adjournment.
