1. The Joint Committee met at 2.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following Members were present:

Senator Eoin Ryan (in the Chair); Deputies Austin Deasy, Barry Desmond and William Kenneally; and Senators Patrick M. Cooney and Brian Hillery.

5. Witnesses Examined.

The following witnesses were examined:

Mr. J. W. Varrier (Associate Director, Scheduled Services Division) and Mr. M. Clough (Product Planning Manager) of Dan-Air Services.

The examination of the following witnesses was resumed:—

Mr. Michael Dargan (Chairman), Mr. D. M. Kennedy (Chief Executive and Director), Mr. Neil Gleeson (Assistant Chief Executive—Finance) and Mr. M. O’Riain (Assistant Chief Executive—Commercial) of Aer Lingus, Teoranta and Aerlínte Éireann, Teoranta.
