5th December, 1979:—Ordered: That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 126 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Committee of Accounts be appointed; and

That the Appropriation Accounts, with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General for the year ended 31 December, 1978, be referred to the Committee for examination and report.

27th February, 1980:—Committee nominated consisting of Deputies Niall Andrews, Luke Belton, Vincent Brady, John Horgan, William Kenneally, Terry Leyden, P. J. Morley, Fergus O’Brien, Rory O’Hanlon, Paddy O’Toole, Séamus Pattison and Michael Smith.

7th May, 1980:—Deputy Eddie Filgate appointed in place of Deputy Vincent Brady, discharged.
