During my examination by the Public Accounts Committee on 13 March the question of repayment to An Bord Iascaigh Mhara of loans for fishing boats was raised and I undertook to provide a note on the matter.

Of the total of 204 cases at (b) above 128 are in arrears of less than £1,000 in each case. In money terms, arrears on repayments at present represent about 8% of total indebtedness.
