LETTERS TO CLERK TO JOINT COMMITTEE FROM WESTPORT URBAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

I refer to your letter of the 14th November, 1979 regarding review being carried out by your committee of the National Building Agency.

I wish to inform you that the points raised in your letter have been noted. The only difficulty Westport Urban District Council encountered in dealing with the NBA was the degree to which faults or problems which arose in the houses had not been corrected.

With reference to your letter of the 23rd November, 1979, the following faults were in a scheme of houses constructed by the NBA:

1. Electrical faults.

2. Flooding.

3. Faulty front doors.
