PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE

1. The Joint Committee met at 4.20 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following Members were present:

Senator FitzGerald (in the Chair), Deputies O’Keeffe and Smith; Senators Conroy, Hussey Molony, Mulcahy and Robinson.

8. Draft Report on Research and Development Programme in Textiles and Clothing.

Senator Mulcahy brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

(i Paragraph 1.

Amendment proposed (Senator FitzGerald):

“To add after the second sentence in paragraph 1 the following:—

‘The Joint Committee is indebted to Senator Mulcahy and his SubCommittee for their work’.”

Amendment agreed to.

Paragraph as amended, agreed to.

(ii) Paragraphs 2 to 7, inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report, as amended, agreed to.

Ordered: To report accordingly.
