1. The Joint Committee met at 3.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following Members were present:

Deputies Clinton (in the Chair), Síle de Valera, Flanagan, Keegan, Leonard, Noonan, Quinn, Smith and Woods; Senators Conroy, Harney, Hussey and Mulcahy.

Senators Brugha and McDonald, Members of the European Parliament, were also in attendance.

8. Draft Report on Community Action in regard to Marine Pollution arising from the Carriage of Oil.

Deputy Quinn brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

(i) Paragraphs 1 to 28, inclusive, agreed to.

(ii) Appendix agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.
