28th February, 1979:—Resolved: That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (Charter and Letters Patent Amendment) Bill, 1978, being a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Charters and Letters Patent under which the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland is incorporated.


7th March, 1979:—Ordered: That a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee to be appointed by Dáil Éireann to consider The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (Charter and Letters Patent Amendment) Bill, 1978.


21st March, 1979:—Senators nominated to serve on the Joint Committee:—Eileen Cassidy, Brian Hillery and David Molony.


21st March, 1979:—Chairman appointed to the Joint Committee:— Deputy Tom Fitzpatrick (Cavan-Monaghan).

1st March, 1979:—Resolved: That Dáil Éireann concurs with Seanad Éireann in its Resolution communicated to Dáil Éireann on 28th February, 1979, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be established to consider The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (Charter and Letters Patent Amendment) Bill, 1978.


8th March, 1979:—Ordered: That a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee appointed by Seanad Éireann to consider The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (Charter and Letters Patent Amendment) Bill, 1978.
