NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL SAFETY ORGANISATIONSubhead K Qn 86 In the context of the State grant not having been paid to NISO from subhead K in 1976 the Committee expressed an interest in being informed as to what reserves NISO possessed and what the Organisation spent during 1976. The Accounts of NISO were not prepared on a calendar year basis before 1976. On 31st March, 1976 which is the nearest date to 1st January, 1976, for which information is available, the Organisation had investments totalling £31,297 on hands. Current assets and fixed assets totalling £3,064 additionally. During the nine months ended 31 December, 1976, NISO derived an income of £6,686 from membership subscriptions, interest, etc. and expended £23,240. At the end of 1976 the Organisation’s investments totalled £18,422. OVERTIME PAYMENTSSubhead A. 1 Qn 89 Overtime payments ranging from £2.61 to £1,381.87 were made to 148 persons in 1976. |
