1. The Joint Committee met at 3.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following Members were present:

Deputies Clinton (in the Chair), Daly, Flanagan, Griffin, Leonard, McCreevy, Noonan, O’Keeffe, Quinn and Woods; Senators Hussey, Molony, Mulcahy, Robinson and Eoin Ryan.

Senator Brugha, Member of the European Parliament, also attended.

11. Draft Report on Statutory Instruments.

The Chairman brought forward Senator FitzGerald’s Draft Report which was read as follows:—

(i) Paragraphs 1 to 12, inclusive, agreed to.

(ii) Appendices I to V, inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.

Ordered: To report accordingly.
