1. The Joint Committee met at 3.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following Members were present:

Deputies Clinton (in the Chair), Daly, Flanagan, Griffin, Leonard, McCreevy, Noonan, O’Keeffe, Quinn and Woods; Senators Hussey, Molony, Mulcahy, Robinson and Eoin Ryan.

Senator Brugha, Member of the European Parliament, also attended.

9. Draft Report on Joint Research Programmes and Programmes for Coordinating Agricultural Research.

Deputy Noonan brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

Paragraphs 1 to 4, inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.
