1. The Joint Committee met at 3.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following Members were present:

Deputies Clinton (in the Chair), Daly, Flanagan, Griffin, Leonard, McCreevy, Noonan, O’Keeffe, Quinn and Woods; Senators Hussey, Molony, Mulcahy, Robinson and Eoin Ryan.

Senator Brugha, Member of the European Parliament, also attended.

4. Draft Report on Application of VAT to Works of Art, Collectors’ Items, Antiques and Used Goods.

Senator Mulcahy brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

Paragraphs 1 to 16, inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.

Ordered: To report accordingly.
