1. The Joint Committee met at 3.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputies Clinton (in the Chair), Daly, Flanagan, Killilea, Leonard, McCreevy, Noonan, Smith and Woods; Senators FitzGerald, Harney, Mulcahy and Eoin Ryan.

4. Draft Report on Proposed Council Directive concerning the Approval of Persons responsible for carrying out Statutory Audits of the Annual Accounts of Limited Companies.

Senator FitzGerald brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

Paragraphs 1 to 22, inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.
