1. The Joint Committee met at 4.00 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputies Clinton (in the Chair), Daly, Flanagan, Noonan, O’Keeffe, Quinn and Woods: Senators Harney, Hussey, Mulcahy, Robinson and Eoin Ryan.

Deputy Brosnan and Senator Brugha, members of the European Parliament, also attended.

5. Draft Report on the Implementation of the Second Directive concerning the Formation of Public Companies and the Maintenance and Alteration of their Capital.

The Joint Committee took into consideration Senator FitzGerald’s Draft Report which was read as follows:

Paragraphs 1 to 20 inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.
