2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy O’Toole (in the Chair), Deputies N. Andrews, Belton, V. Brady, V. de Valera, Kenneally, Kerrigan, Morley, C. Murphy, F. O’Brien and Woods.

3. The Committee deliberated.

4. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1975

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 January 1975 to 31 December 1975 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

National Gallery, Office of the Minister for Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Vocational Education, Residential Homes and Special Schools, Higher Education.

5. Witnesses Examined

Dr. J. White (Director, National Gallery), Mr. D. Ó Laoghaire (Secretary, Department of Education), Mr. C. K. Mc Grath (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

6. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 12.45 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
