1. The Joint Committee met at 4.00 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputies Haughey (in the Chair), Collins, Dockrell, Esmonde, Fahey, Gibbons and Staunton; Senators Boland, Higgins and Yeats. Apologies for inability to attend were received from Deputy Kavanagh and from Senators Lenihan and Robinson.

3. Draft Report on Proposals regarding the Operation of the Markets in Surface Goods Transport and Common Rules for Bus and Coach Services.

The Chairman brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

Paragraphs 1 to 11 inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.
