1. The Joint Committee met at 4 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputies Haughey (in the Chair), Collins, Dockrell, Esmonde, Fahey, Gibbons and Staunton; Senators Boland, Higgins and Yeats. Apologies for inability to attend were received from Deputy Kavanagh and from Senators Lenihan and Robinson.

3. Draft Report on an Amended Proposal for a Council Regulation laying down Common Standards for the Water Content of Frozen and Deep-Frozen Fowl Carcases.

The Chairman brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

Paragraphs 1 to 4 inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.

Ordered: To report accordingly.
