PROCEEDINGS OF THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 2.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

The Minister for Finance, Deputies Paddy Belton, Edward Collins, de Valera, Maurice Dockrell, Esmonde, Haughey, and O’Connell.

3. Election of Chairman.

Motion made (Deputy Paddy Belton):

“That Deputy Esmonde be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put and agreed to.

Deputy Esmonde took the Chair accordingly.

4. Consideration of Bill.

The Committee took the Bill into consideration.

(i) Sections 1 to 5 inclusive agreed to.

Further consideration of the Bill adjourned.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 4 p.m. until 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 17th February, 1976.
