1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputy H. Gibbons, Governey, Griffin, MacSharry, C. Murphy and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1974

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 April 1974 to 31 December 1974 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Department of the Taoiseach, An Chomhairle Ealaíon, Central Statistics Office, Foreign Affairs, International Civil operation, Office of the Revenue Commissioners.

4. Witnesses Examined

Mr. D. Ó Súilleabháin (Secretary, Department of the Taoiseach), Mr. T. P. Linehan (Director, Central Statistics Office), Mr. Keating (Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs), Mr. J. F. Richardson (Chairman Revenue Commissioners) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 12.35 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
