1. The Committee met at 4 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

The Minister for Health, Deputies Briscoe, Barry Desmond, Esmonde, Haughey, Fergus O’Brien, O’Connell and Wyse.

3. Election of Chairman.

Motion made (Deputy Esmonde):

“That Deputy Barry Desmond be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put and agreed to.

Deputy Barry Desmond took the Chair accordingly.

4. Notice of Amendments.

Ordered: That notice of proposed amendments be given not later than 12 noon on Wednesday, 12th November, 1975: Provided that amendments could be moved without notice.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 4.10 p.m. until 4.15 p.m. on Wednesday, 26th November, 1975.
