1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies Crotty, H. Gibbons, Governey, Griffin, Moore, Pattison, Toal and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1972-73.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1972-73 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Foreign Affairs, International Co-Operation, Labour, Lands, Forestry.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. P. Keating (Secretary, Department of Foreign Affiairs), Mr. T. Ó Cearbhaill (Secretary, Department of Labour), Mr. T. O’Brien (Secretary, Department of Lands) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1.20 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 10th April, 1975.
