1. The Joint Committee met a 4.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputies Haughey (in the Chair), Collins, Dockrell, Esmonde, Fahey, Flanagan and Staunton; Senators Lenihan and Robinson. Apologies for inability to attend were received from Deputies Desmond, Fitzgerald and Thornley and from Senators FitzGerald, Ryan and Yeats.

3. Draft Report on Proposal for a Council Regulation amending Council Regulation (EEC) No. 907/73 Establishing a European Monetary Co-operation Fund.

The Chairman brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:

Paragraphs 1 to 5, inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.
