PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE

1. The Joint Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputies Haughey (in the Chair) Collins, Dockrell, Esmonde, Fahey, Flanagan, and Staunton; Senators Lenihan and Robinson. Apologies for inability to attend were received from Deputies Desmond, Fitzgerald and Thornley, and from Senators FitzGerald, Ryan and Yeats.

3. Draft Report on the Implementation and Direct Applicability of Directives.

The Chairman brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

Paragraphs 1 to 8 inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to, Deputy Esmonde dissenting.

Ordered: To report accordingly.

4. Adjournment.

The Joint Committee adjourned at 6 p.m.
