1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy E. Collins (in the Chair), Deputies Barrett, Dowling, H. Gibbons, Governey, Nolan, MacSharry and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1969-70

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1969-70 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Health, Central Mental Hospital and Public Works and Buildings.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. P. S. Ó Muireadhaigh (Secretary, Department of Health), Mr. C. Farrell (Chairman, Commissioners of Public Works) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 16th November, 1972.
