1. The Committee met at 4.15 p.m.

3. Consideration of Memoranda.


Following consideration of memoranda submitted by Departments in accordance with the Order of 14th January, 1970, it was—


(i) Resolved: That it is not necessary to draw the special attention of Seanad Éireann to the following instruments:—


Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) (Countries of Acceptance) (No. 2) Order, 1969 [S.I. No. 211 of 1969].


(ii) Resolved: That the special attention of Seanad Éireann be drawn to the following instrument on ground (iv) of the Resolution of Reference:—
