ORDERS OF REFERENCE.

4th August, 1965:—Resolved: That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Institute of Chartered Accountants in, Ireland (Charter Amendment) Bill, 1965, being a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Charter under which the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland is incorporated so as to alter the provisions of the Charter in relation to admission to fellowship, the annual general meeting and the appointment of the council and secretary of the Institute and to confer power on the Institute to grant or join with similar bodies in granting diplomas, certificates and awards and for other purposes relating to the Institute.


27th October, 1965:—Ordered: That a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee to be appointed by Dáil Éireann to consider the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (Charter Amendment) Bill, 1965.


10th November, 1965:—Senator snominated to serve on the Joint Committee:— John B. O’Quigley, Eoin Ryan and William A. W. Sheldon.


10th November, 1965:—Chairman appointed to the Joint Committee:— Deputy Gerard Sweetman.

20th October, 1965:—Resolved: That Dáil Éireann concurs with Seanad Éireann in its Resolution communicated to Dáil Éireann on the 4th day of August, 1965, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (Charter Amendment) Bill, 1965.


28th October, 1965:—Ordered: That a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee appointed by Seanad Éireann to consider the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (Charter Amendment) Bill, 1965.
