1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Jones (in the Chair), Deputies Booth, Patríck J. Burke, Clinton, Cunningham and Lalor.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1962-63.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1962-63 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Office of the Minister for Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Technical Instruction, Scíence and Art, Reformatory and Industrial Schools, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, Universities and Colleges and Comptroller and Auditor General.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Dr. T. Ó Raifeartaigh (Secretary, Department of Education), Mr. J. R. Whitty (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 11.50 a.m.
