THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 4.15 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Senator O’Brien (in the Chair), Senators Brennan, Browne, Cole, Ryan and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of Memoranda.

Following consideration of memoranda submited by Departments in accordance with the Order of 3rd April, 1963, it was:—

(i) Resolved: That the special attention of Seanad Éireann be drawn in the Second Report of the Committee to the following instrument on ground (vi) of the Order of Reference:—

Aliens (Amendment) Order, 1962 [S.I. No. 112 of 1962].

(ii) Resolved: That it is not necessary to draw the special attention of Seanad Éireann to the following instrument:—

Registry of Deeds (Fees) Order, 1962 [S.I. No. 195 of 1962].

4. Report of the Committee.

The Chairman brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

Paragraphs 1-10 inclusive, agreed to.

Draft Report agreed to.

Ordered: That the Report be presented to Seanad Éireann.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 4.35 p.m.
