Proceedings of the Committee

1. The Committee met at 12 noon.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputies Belton, Booth, Carter, Clinton, Nicholas Egan, Jones, Kenny and Sherwin.

3. Election of Chairman.

Motion made (Deputy Booth):

“That Deputy Jones be the Chairman of the Committee”.

Question put, and agreed to.

Deputy Jones took the Chair accordingly.

4. The Committee deliberated.

5. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. M. Ó Murchadha and Mr. J. R. Whitty (Department of Finance) and the Secretary and Director of Audit were examined.

6. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.15 p.m.
