THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Senators Browne, Cole, Desmond, Fitzpatrick, O’Brien and Ryan.

3. Election of Chairman.

Motion made (Senator Ryan):

“That Senator O’Brien be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Senator O’Brien took the Chair accordingly.

4. The Committee deliberated.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 4.45 p.m. until 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 11th April, 1962.
