1. The Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

3. Consideration of Statutory Instruments.

Following consideration of the fifteen statutory instruments set out below it was:—

(i) Resolved: That it is not necessary to draw the special attention of Seanad Éireann to the following instruments:—

An Bord Gráin (Additional Function) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 273 of 1961].

Milk (Retail Price) (Dublin Sale District) (Amendment) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 233 of 1961].

Vocational Education (Grants for Annual Schemes of Committees) Regulations, 1961 [S.I. No. 189 of 1961].

Mechanically Propelled Vehicles (International Circulation) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 269 of 1961].

Transport Act, 1958 (Section 14(6) ) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 274 of 1961].

Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial (Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 246 of 1961].

Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 259 of 1961].

Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 258 of 1961].

Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) (No. 2) Order, 1960 (Revocation) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 221 of 1961].

Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) Order, 1961 [S.I. No. 222 of 1961].

(ii) Ordered: That, in respect of each of the following instruments, the Department or other authority concerned be requested to submit a memorandum explaining the instrument:—
