ORDERS OF REFERENCE.

21st June, 1961:—Ordered: That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 123, the Committee of Public Accounts be appointed, and that the members of the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection;


That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records;


That the Appropriation Accounts, with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor-General for the year ended 31st March, 1961, be referred to the Committee for examination and report [Parliamentary Secretary to the Taoiseach].


29th June, 1961:—Committee accordingly nominated consisting of Deputies Belton, Booth, Seán Browne, Patrick J. Burke, Cunningham, Desmond, Geoghegan, Jones, Thaddeus Lynch, Moloney, O’Toole and Sheldon.


22nd November, 1961:—Ordered: That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 123, the Committee of Public Accounts be appointed, and that the members of the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection;


That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records;


That the Appropriation Accounts, with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor-General for the year ended 31st March, 1961 be referred to the Committee for examination and report [Parliamentary Secretary to the Taoiseach].


30th November, 1961:—Ordered: That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Standing Order No. 123, the Committee of Public Accounts, appointed by Order of the Dáil of 22nd November, 1961, do consist of thirteen members [Parliamentary Secretary to the Taoiseach].


7th December, 1961:—Committee nominated accordingly consisting of Deputies Belton, Booth, Carter, Carty, Clinton, Cunningham, Desmond, Nicholas Egan, Jones, Kenny, Sherwin, Timmons and Treacy.


14th March, 1962:—Deputy Patrick J. Burke appointed in place of Deputy Timmons discharged.
