5th March, 1959:—Resolved: That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Iveagh Trust (Amendment) Bill, 1959, being a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Iveagh Trust Act, 1903 (3 Edw. 7 Cap. III) by extending the powers of investment of the Iveagh Trustees under the said Act.

11th March, 1959:—Ordered: That a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee to be appointed by Dáil Éireann to consider the Iveagh Trust (Amendment) Bill, 1959.

29th April, 1959:—Senators nominated to serve on the Joint Committee:— John B. O’Quigley, Eoin Ryan and William B. Stanford.

29th April, 1959:—Chairman appointed to the Joint Committee:— Deputy Gerard Sweetman.

10th March, 1959:—Resolved: That Dáil Éireann concurs with Seanad Éireann in its Resolution communicated to Dáil Éireann on the 5th day of March, 1959, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Iveagh Trust (Amendment) Bill, 1959.

8th April, 1959:—Ordered: That a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee appointed by Seanad Éireann to consider the Iveagh Trust (Amendment) Bill, 1959.
