IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE.

THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Déardaoin, 26ú Feabhra, 1953.

Thursday, 26th February, 1953.

1. The Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Sheldon (in the Chair), Deputies P. Brady, Carter, Mrs. Crowley, M. E. Dockrell, Gallagher and McGrath.

3. Form of Estimates.

The Committee considered a communication dated 22 Eanáir, 1953 from the Department of Finance (See Appendix X X V) on the subject of a proposed alteration in the form of the Estimates. The Committee noted the proposed alteration.

4. Report of Committee.

The Chairman brought forward a Draft Report, which was read the first time.

Motion made (Deputy Gallagher):

“That the Chairman’s Draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Paragraphs 1 to 18 inclusive, agreed to.

Motion made (Deputy Gallagher):

“That the Chairman’s Draft Report be the Report of the Committee.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Ordered: That the Report be presented to the Dáil.

5. Conclusion of Business.

The Committee concluded its business at 5 p.m.
