THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 2.15 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Senators Fearon, Fitzsimons, Hawkins, Hearne, McGuire and O’Brien.

3. Election of Chairman.

Senator Fearon moved:—

“That Senator O’Brien be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Senator O’Brien took the Chair accordingly.

4. The Committee deliberated.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 2.45 p.m.
